Main Responsibilities:
- Create and ensure the prompt availability of qualified products for businesses that are safe and effective, suitable for mass production, and in line with the brand/category innovation strategy.
- Project management to ensure all milestones are delivered in time with good quality and proper risk taking by coordinating with all functional partners within R&I, PD and DMI.
- Consumer and competitor understanding and translate the insights into new product innovation opportunities.
- Responsible for the key pillars of products animation, new launches, projects management in terms of strong product communication (claims, demos, illustration etc.) creation and validation based on business needs and products positioning.
- Responsible for technologies valorization to clearly state the new and better elements by scientific evidence and in visual/consumer understandable ways. Design and develop the tests and methods with key partners.
- Responsible for assigned new capabilities development in the field of formulation, product testing, product performance valorization and claims substantiation (i.e. new formula, new product format, new in-vitro/in-vivo test method, new demo methodologies, new active validation etc.)
Requirements:
- Master in Chemical or Biology or Engineering etc.
- 5 years+ related working experience with main exposure to cosmetic industry or related raw material industry
- Solid technical & professional knowledge of hair care, consumer insight, products assessment, launch projects management
- Passion on products launches and capable to work with pressure and urgency
- Fluent English speaking and writing
- Good knowledge of skin/hair biology
- Excellent communication skill; able to translate technology into marketing language
- Consumer centricity
