Job Title: Medical BP – SkinCeuticals 

Level: Assistant Manager / Manager (AM-M) 

Location: Shanghai, China 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITY:

Act as the Medical Business Partner for SkinCeuticals to drive the brand's scientific leadership. Develop and update the medical strategy with tactical plans and provide medical insights for brand marketing strategies. Lead high-quality data generation and evidence-based scientific communication. Build strong partnerships with top-tier dermatologists and academic societies. Ensure seamless cross-functional collaboration with Brand Marketing, Sales, Retail, E-commerce, and DMI/Zone teams.

 

MAIN DUTIES:

  1. Medical Strategy & Scientific Leadership
    • Develop and execute medical strategies for new product launches and the medical revitalization of existing pillars.
    • Conduct medical competitive analysis to provide scientific insights that differentiate the brand within the professional skincare market.
    • Perform deep-dives into cutting-edge dermatology science and cosmetics technology to maintain the brand’s medical leading authority.
  2.  High-Quality Data Generation & Publication
  • Design and lead high-quality research, including but not limited to clinical studies, in-vivo/in-vitro efficacy testing, and Real-World Evidence (RWE) case collections.
  • Deliver high-impact scientific outputs, including SCI-indexed articles, academic posters, and professional skincare protocols.
  • Drive the development of clinical guidelines, expert consensus and scientific report to establish industry standards.
  1. Medical Relations & Academic Engagement
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with national top-tier KOLs and key dermatological societies.
  • Lead brand’s presence at international and national third-party academic congresses and organize high-impact academic activity.
  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Support
    • Partner closely with Brand MKT, Medical MKT, Medical Sales, Retail, and E-commerce teams to provide essential medical support and training for omnichannel growth.
    • Collaborate with DMI and Zone teams to align on global strategies and implement local medical initiatives.

 

REQUIREMENT:  

  1. Education Background:
  • Master’s degree or PhD in clinical medicine or related medical disciplines. Clinical practice experience in dermatology is highly preferred. 
  1. Work Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience in Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, or Skincare industry.
  • Previous experience in Medical Affairs or Medical Education or Medical Communication is highly preferred, especially within the Dermatology and Aesthetics fields.
  1. Skills & Competencies:
  • Firmly grounded in scientific fundamentals, experimental protocol development, and methodology.
  • Strong ability to interpret complex science and clinical data into compelling scientific storytelling.
  • Acutely aware of market/medical trends and competitor scientific movements.
  • Proven ability to build long-term partnerships with national top KOLs through professional scientific engagement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, characterized by agility and a high sense of responsibility.
  • Fluent English in literature reading, medical writing and oral communication
