Job Summary

This project manager role ensures that our brands are highly aware of category trend, consumer insight and brand dynamics as a lighthouse of marketing critical decision making. Through this role, we maximize the potential and value of our brands through using consumer insight as the foundation. The job holder will be a key strategic partner providing consumer insight in China to drive brand sustainable growth.

 

The CMI Specialist demands a proactive approach to designing, executing, and synthesizing consumer studies, ultimately delivering actionable and impactful insights that empower our brands to anticipate, meet, and exceed consumer expectations. 

 

What are we looking for?

  • 5-8 years experience in consumer marketing insight & research role (research agency or in-house CMI role)
  • Hands on project management experience at different types of research projects including qualitative (FGD, IDI) and quantitative (e.g. concept/ product test, packaging test, price test, U&A, etc.)– Balanced qualitative and quantitative background is preferred.
  • Proficiency in insight synthesizing and articulation, compelling storytelling, to deliver clear and impactful insight and implication to internal stakeholders.
  • Strong cross-functional stakeholder management to get alignment and drive implementation. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in both English and Chinese, esp. presentation skill
  • Excellent analysis & PPT visualization skills
  • Good at logical planning, structured execution, and efficient decision-making to meet deadlines and achieve objectives
  • Prefer experience in FMCG industry (esp. Beauty industry)

 

 

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Responsible for driving brand and category related research including not limited to NPD test, product post launch, U&A, communication, shopper, brand diagnostic, etc. Mainly on Luxe division skincare brands.
  • Utilize data analytic and visualization skill to regularly update skincare category trend.
  • Proactively drive insight transformation to inspire opportunities and bring strong impact to business.
  • Work closely together with local brand team, DMI/DMI hub, global DMI, global insight team to understand business questions, draw up research plan, budget management, etc.
