Mission: 

Manage the operational sourcing activities to support the business, innovation, and performances for L’Oréal Suzhou Plant

Key Job Accountabilities 

 

  • Analysis business needs and challenges demand: Anticipate major evolution of needs, propose the most valuable option involving internal and external network/resources. 
  • Secure business for Suzhou plant.
  • Leverage Sourcing Activities to achieve best competitiveness result for P&L 
  • Implement Category strategy is aligned with Business needs
  • Optimizes costs: Capture breakthrough ideas coming from the suppliers, and leverage market opportunity to deliver the best cost module.
  • Anticipates business activity and acts proactively: competitiveness and that the strategy is implemented successfully and use breakthrough sourcing strategies to create value 
  • Value Analysis: perform value analysis with collaboration with R&I, Product Development Team, and category sourcing team (in China) to optimize total value of ownership.  
  • Operates according to internal control principles and legal rules: Develop a competitive advantage (exclusivity, group strategy, innovation, CSR, …)
  • Evaluates and manages risks: Define and implement risk management policy and manage the risk exposure
  • Manages Performance: Be accountable for purchasing performance and reporting, including but not limited to PPV (purchase price variance), Trend, Budget, etc.
  • Manages stakeholders’ relationships and drive the same goal.

 

 

Job Requirements: 

 

Education Qualifications:

  • Chemistry/food/pharmaceutical or supply chain/business background
  • Bsc./Msc. Chemistry/Pharma will be preferred 

 

Experience:

  • Experience of raw materials sourcing in chemical / Personal care / Food / Pharmaceutical industry will be preferred,
  • Significant sourcing operation/supply chain management experience is highly preferred, e.g. experienced in chemicals international/trading company
  • Capable of developing and implementing the purchasing strategy.
