Job Description

We are seeking for AssociateExpert to work in the exciting field of Scientific product valorization of makeup products. This person will work closely with different functional teams inside / outside R&I to create C-relevant strategical claim assets, to support the new launch products, as well as its reactivations in different communication channels. Concretely speaking:

  • Collaborate with Raw Materials and Strategic Marketing teams to identify and select impactful active ingredients for new and existing makeup products, enhancing product storytelling.
  • Decipher consumer-centric claims that resonate deeply with our target audience, translating scientific benefits into compelling consumer experiences.
  • Develop innovative and attractive claims substantiation strategies within regulatory guidelines, partnering effectively with Evaluation Intelligence and Regulatory teams.
  • Create engaging tutorials and color valorization for makeup products, leveraging expertise from Evaluation, professional makeup artists, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and other relevant partners.
  • Identify opportunities to elevate our claims, including first-to-market claims, novel active ingredients, and innovative substantiation methods, while continuously analyzing consumer and market needs.
  • Valorize OD innovation by creating C-relevant attractive communication assets 
  • Integrate digital tools and approaches into daily workflows, leveraging data analysis for enhanced decision-making.
  • To find the levers to bring our claim asset to next level (ex. first to market claims, innovative actives/claims/decoding consumers & market needs/new way of substantiation…). 

Requires

  • Master and above Degree in chemical, biological, physical… related filed, ideally with 5-10 years of experience in FMCG related field (including RM suppliers), or formulation development, or technical related field. 
  • Good at basic IT tools (excel, PPT, … or above, ex. Python, Power BI and other digital tools would be nice to have)
  • Willing and capable to learn fast in color territory and be stable in the territory for several years at least (Considering color territory is quite expertise driven).
  • Demonstrated independent thinking, root cause analysis, mind map and problem-solving skills.  
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail and precision in technique.   
  • Good communication, presentation skills and influence power.
  • Must be self-driven and passionate for the beauty industry.
  • Balanced constructive & analytical thinking + creativity.
