- Select technologies meeting the innovation objectives of Lips DA
- Design robust platforms that can be cascaded into winning formulas matching the defined performance objectives and timing
- Be the guarantor of quality, safety and sustainable development commitments
- Start to collect, sort and perform an initial analysis of scientific and technical information, clarify state of arts, conduct bibliographic research, for experiment preparation and manipulations
- Perform the lab trials and follow scaling up, industrialization studies and all the tests (stability, safety/efficacy, and consumer), write technical & project status recap and ensure systematic reporting and/or presentation
- Analyze the results, ensure the interpretation and make proposals and technical solutions to solve the technical challenge of projects
- Build ID card for the Lips DA winning technology (describe the technological positioning and performance of the products, risk assessment, physical chemistry characterization for deeply understanding the formula and robustness check for the formulation and process)
- Apply patents for protecting innovation technology
- Project planning, experimental planning for given projects, made time control, risk assessment and mitigation actions
- Transfer Lips DA technology to Development while sharing his/her expertise and retaining a leader role in project follow-up
- Participate in the development of expertise and know-how (consumer insights, market knowledge, new conception methods etc.)
- Start to transfer knowledge and know-how, and provide technical support to colleagues in certain projects
- Start to diversify his/her competences and integrate various information into his/her own work
- Build technical network within the global Lips DA and also with other functional team (Dev, SOF team, physical chemistry team etc.)
- Ensure and respect all company and R&I guidelines, ex. EHS rules and good laboratory practice. (ex. housekeeping)
