Job Title: CRM Data Lead
Department: O+O Zone CRM IT

Reports To: CRM Data Manager
Regions Covered: North Asia & SAPMENA (South Asia Pacific, Middle East, and North Africa)


Summary

L'Oréal is seeking a highly skilled and experienced CRM Data Lead to manage and optimize customer data strategy across North Asia and SAPMENA. This critical role is responsible for defining and implementing how we store, structure, and utilize customer data within our CRM systems—ensuring data quality, integrity, and alignment with L'Oréal’s broader data governance and analytics initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in CRM data management, a solid understanding of data governance, and a proven track record in leading data-driven projects and teams.


Key Responsibilities

CRM Data Strategy

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive CRM data strategy aligned with global governance standards and regional business needs.

  • Partner with IT leadership to set strategic goals for CRM data use, focusing on scalability, system integration, and data-driven decision-making.

Data Architecture & Modeling

  • Design and implement scalable, high-performing data architecture and models within CRM systems.

  • Optimize storage, retrieval, and processing efficiency using modern data warehousing techniques.

  • Document technical specifications, including entity relationships, data flows, APIs, and integration points.

  • Utilize cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud, Azure) for CRM data storage and analytics, ensuring compliance with IT standards.

Data Governance

  • Work closely with data governance and analytics teams to ensure compliance with data policies, standards, and best practices.

  • Implement secure data handling measures: access control, encryption, audit trails, and automated governance workflows.

Data Quality Management

  • Establish and oversee data quality processes such as cleansing, validation, and enrichment.

  • Develop scripts and workflows to monitor quality metrics (completeness, accuracy, timeliness, consistency) and alert for anomalies in real-time.

Project Management

  • Lead CRM data-focused projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, resolve data challenges, and ensure alignment on initiatives.

Innovation & Best Practices

  • Stay current on industry trends in CRM data and governance.

  • Recommend and implement innovative solutions to enhance data utilization and business insights.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in CRM data management, data governance, or a related domain; experience managing a team is required.

  • Strong knowledge of data warehousing, modeling techniques, and integration methodologies.

  • Proficiency in SQL and Google Cloud tools (Dataflow, Dataform, Apache Beam).

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

  • Understanding of APIs and system integration.

  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or JavaScript is a plus.

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities.

  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) is highly desirable.
