The M&A team is designed to develop corporate strategies related to external growth led via business development with acquisition, investment (including CVC), licensing, joint venture within all beauty related sectors (brands, beauty device & tech, upstream innovation, R&D, operation). The team is led by North Asia New Business Development, Investment & Merger and Acquisition Head. 

M&A Finance Project Manager will have a critical role to achieve external growth for China business based on the strategic direction of the company collaborate with corporate finance and legal team. The role will focus on scanning the investment & acquisition targets, conducting financial and strategic analyses to evaluate and propose for further growth and value creation opportunities to the Group (via investment, partnership, license, and M&A)

Key Role & Responsibility 

• Analyze existing business, emerging industry trends, and competitive landscape in Beauty.
• Collaborate across the organization including finance, division, R&I and operations to achieve strategic objectives

• Screen databases and maintain network of external partners for potential new business opportunities 
• Evaluate organic and inorganic growth strategies and provide analysis
• Play an active role in the development of the knowledge base of the team, including participation in the identification of key information needs and provision of recommendations on how to obtain them
• Lead ad hoc market research/strategic analysis projects with market research team
• Conduct research on prospective acquisition targets and prepare customized presentations for the management team. 
• Support transaction process from end to end, including preliminary evaluations, due diligence, making recommendations to senior management on path forward and eventual negotiations, ensuring alignment of all stakeholders internal or external with best-in-class project management working with corporate finance team. 

Key Requisites 

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, finance, or a related field
• +3-6 years or more of industry experience in investment banking, venture capital, private equity, M&A, relevant corporate development role, or some combination, but also open to review business operation & marketing in beauty industry
• Excellent project management and analytical skills, with experience in an environment requiring significant data analysis and cross-functional interaction.

• Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
• A fast learner with the ability to take initial direction and self-manage to complete assignments on time and to expectations.
