Position Objective
- China and North Asia Project Manager is accountable for real estate projects ie. workplace project; all office fit-out project; all building construction project as well as facility initiative project across China. This role will also play a governance project management role for the projects in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea and Japan.
- Ensure operationally upstream and downstream is process compliance and in accordance with L’Oreal Governance, Policy and Procedures
- Ensure all projects managed are within defined budget, timeline and purposes
- Strong project delivery skillsets and resources mobilization with regards to internal L’Oreal resources as well as external service partners
Roles and Responsibility
- Assist China and North Asia Real Estate Head managing all real estate projects ie. workplace project; all office fit-out project; all building construction project as well as facility-initiated project across China and North Asia.
- Develop and maintain the working relationship with relevant project stakeholders, project teams and other internal stakeholder (Purchasing, Finance, HR, EHS etc.) as required
- Manage and guide service providers on all projects and ensure consistency of governance and delivery standards
- Develop all project related documentation including but not limited to project schedule, business case, tendering documents, close out documents etc.
- Strong technical knowledge to ensure all projects are delivered meeting the user requirement
- Ensure lessons learned and success factors are both captured and integrated back to real estate process and develop continuous improvement
Skillsets/Experience
- Degree in real estate, civil engineering, mechanical or relevant
- Minimum 10 experience in similar role in North Asia region.
- Strong industry market knowledge and experience
- Strong mechanical or design background
- Flexible, resilience and strong communication skills in multi-culture environment in North Asia.
- Efficiency in English speaking. Language in speaking French is a plus
