Job Title: CRM Data – Technical Project Manager

Summary:

L'Oréal is seeking a highly skilled and experienced CRM Data Technical Project Manager to manage CRM data related projects across APAC, MENA.

This critical role will be responsible for driving and delivering CRM data related workstreams as part of a greater digital transformation program taking place in the region. This will include working with stakeholders and vendors on topics like data schema mapping, data quality validation and data migration.

The successful candidate will possess expertise in CRM data management, a pro-active and entrepreneurial mindset, and proven experience in leading data-focused projects. Much of what we do is communicating with stakeholders across the region, hence having clear and tactful communication with people from different countries will be required. This role is best suited for someone with a good mix of technical and business background.


Responsibilities:

Data Quality & Data Migration Management:

  • Ability to quickly write and run queries in SQL for data analysis

  • Implement data quality processes, including data cleansing, validation, and enrichment, to ensure the accuracy and reliability of our CRM data

  • Work with stakeholders to drive data migration workstream from source to target (end to end), and support in any relevant cutover activities

Data Architecture and Modeling:

  • Work with Data Architect to implement the optimal data architecture and data models within our CRM systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and data integrity

  • Support Data Architect to review data mapping between various systems and CRM

Project Management:

  • Lead and manage data-focused projects within the CRM domain, ensuring timely and successful delivery of project objectives

  • Key focus will be managing CRM data-centric projects which requires strong ability to:

    • Understand and own our CRM Data Schema

    • Handle and troubleshoot data mapping between CRM systems

    • Lead CRM data migration from source to downstream systems

    • Run CRM data analysis in GCP to perform data quality validations and propose data quality fixes

    • Manage Compute Engine (calculated attributes KPIs) roadmap with business and vendor

Stakeholder Management:

  • Liaise with key stakeholders across different business functions and IT teams to gather requirements, address data-related challenges, and ensure alignment on data initiatives


Key Requirements:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience. Someone who loves analyzing data and enjoys working with stakeholders to drive CRM data projects

  • Strong project management skills, especially on data-centric projects

  • Experience with handling CRM data migration between systems

  • Experience with managing CRM data quality validations to help measure and improve overall data quality (including data cleansing, validation, and enrichment, to ensure the accuracy and reliability of our CRM data)

  • Strong experience managing vendors to drive project progress. Strong and clear communicator

  • Understanding of data governance principles to ensure data integrity, compliance, and security within the CRM system

  • Good comprehension and interest in system integration which will help with understanding how data flows within the CRM systems

  • Proficiency in SQL for database querying and management

  • Familiarity with using GCP is a strong plus
