Job Title: Assistant Commercial Development Manager

Job Purpose: This role supports the Commercial Development team in identifying, 

evaluating, and securing prime retail locations for L'Oréal brands in China. You will 

contribute to strategic real estate planning, portfolio optimization, and lease negotiation.


Key Responsibilities:

• Market Analysis: Conduct competitive real estate market analysis for retail and 

cosmetics. Help compile proposals for new store optimization using market and 

portfolio data.

• Site Selection: Evaluate retail opportunities using site selection metrics, 

demographics, and research to ensure optimal location, performance, and 

visibility. Identify and assess potential new retail premises for expansion or 

relocation, aligning with strategic goals.

• Strategy & Planning: Support building and refining roadmap strategies and 

opening plans for brands. Analyze store portfolios and new proposals to ensure real 

estate KPIs meet segmentation parameters.

• Negotiation Support: Assist in negotiating lease terms, rental rates, and property 

conditions with landlords. Ensure negotiation outcomes align with company 

budgets and brand profitability. Track key clauses of executed contracts.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field.

• Relevant experience in real estate or commercial development within the retail or 

cosmetics industry.

• Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and strategic thinker.

• Fluent in English and Mandarin
